Our Founder

Our founder, president, and owner, Leon Pittman, has been an avid outdoorsman and 3D archer for many years. He's a retired USAF veteran, retired General Motors employee, retired chicken farmer, and retired custom knife designer/builder. Mr. Pittman started Last Chance Archery with the sole purpose of trying to make tuning bows quicker, safer, and easier. Since our establishment in 2004, we've continued this same idea/goal with every product we've released.

We couldn't continue our work without each of you. We're so thankful for great customers like you and your support of our company, brand, and products.

Our Technology

Our patented finger system protects your bow like no other while being pressed inside LCA bow presses. With an LCA bow press, you will be applying pressure gently and evenly to the limb tips, eliminating the danger of bending your riser, while it applies the same pressure to your limbs that's used while drawing your bow shot for shot. This technology was far advanced for the time period, which led to the patenting of this particular design with the US Patent and Trademark Office. Patent #: 7,597,094 & 7,644,708

*Most LCA products are made in house from start to finish in Pendergrass, GA.

The Last Chance Archery Difference – A Brief Introduction

LCA’s Owner, Leon Pittman, started Last Chance Archery in 2004 mainly to build the Power Press. After a while, he realized the Power Press was far in advance compared to other presses on the market, so we launched the EZ Press to give the customers more options to accommodate their bow tuning needs. We have 15 different versions, from our standard EZ Green model to our highest-end Power Ultimate Deluxe model bow press. With our manual and motorized presses, anyone can set up and press bows of different lengths at a ratio of 3:1 compared to other presses on the market. This means anyone can work on three bows in the time it takes to work on just one bow with any other press!

Another important factor about our press is that it presses the bow the same way as if you're drawing the bow for a shot. This puts no extra pressure on your limbs or riser and keeps your bow safe and secure when using the press properly!

Also, with our press, you don’t have to remove accessories (sights, stabilizers, etc.) to have the ability to press the bow. Allowing you to press your bow precisely as it is without removing any parts and risking moving your own, or customers, bow settings as they are.
