Two things I find essential in my archery shop are the Last Chance Power Press and an LCA Draw Board. These tools help make fine-tuning a breeze.
I use the draw board and the power press to set my timing, measure my draw length, and check for nock pinch on my nocking point. The draw board allows me to take my bow to full draw quickly, and the Power Press enables me to make fine adjustments. These steps are necessary to ensure cam timing is correct. When measuring my draw length, I can leave the bow at full draw in the draw board to quickly get an exact draw measurement.
The Power Press makes life so much easier, allowing me to make quick adjustments. It’s also perfect when changing strings and cables as it speeds up the process. If I notice my bow is out of time in the draw board, it takes just a second to move my bow to the press and make the necessary adjustments.
