LCA Bow Scale 3.0 (Hanging model)

INSTRUCTIONS & WARNINGS
#1 Remove the battery cover using the included screwdriver. Then remove the tab from under the batteries, so they connect.
#2 Turn on the scale by pressing the ON button once. Find the ON button directly on top of the scale body.
#3 Check any bow’s peak weight and holding weight by drawing the bow to full draw, holding it at full draw for 3 seconds, and then let­ting the bow down. The bow Peak/Hold weight readings will appear on the LCD screen.
#4 Tare the scale by lightly tapping the ON button once. Or draw back the bow again, and the scale will automatically reset
and give you the new Peak/Hold weight readings.
#5 Turn the scale off by tapping the ON button twice. Turn the scale off after each use to ensure long battery life.
#6 In addition to reading your Peak/Hold weight, this scale calculates your bow Let-Off % in the lower corner.
#7 The LCA Bow Scale 3.0 uses 2 AAA batteries.
#8 Hold the ON button for 4 seconds to cycle between lb & kg

WARNING
• ALWAYS draw your bow in a “SAFE DIRECTION” when using the LCA Bow Scale 3.0
• It’s recommended to nock an arrow before using the scale in case of a dry fire.
• The LCA Bow Scale 3.0 can read measurements up to 200 lbs. Do NOT exceed the 200 lb max weight limit. Exceeding this weight limit could cause damage or injury to you or your equipment.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment while operating this product. For example, safety glasses/gloves

CALIBRATING THE LCA BOW SCALE 3.0
Required: 45 lb calibration weight. Note: The scale is calibrated new, but over time might need to be recalibrated.
#1 Open the battery compartment by removing the small phillips head screws, and then remove one of the two AAA batteries.
#2 Hold the ON/OFF button while reinstalling the battery simultaneously.
#3 At this point, a random assortment of numbers should move up/down on the LCD screen, which shows it’s in calibration mode.
#4 Click the ON/OFF button once, and “CAL” will flash twice, and then 45.0 lb will repeatedly flash on the screen.
#5 At this point in the process you are ready to add the 45 lb weight to the scale.
#6 Hold the 45 lb weight with the scale until the LCD screen says “PASS.” Once it shows “PASS,” the scale has been recalibrated.

If, for some reason, the scale never says “PASS.” Start over from step one. Ensure the 45 lb weight is put onto the scale softly and that it doesn’t swing back and forth. If the weight moves back and forth, it will not calibrate as it’s not allowing it to get an accurate reading of the 45 lb weight.

You can perform this process using a single 45 lb weight, mixing dumbells until you get 45 lbs, or even taking a bucket of sand/water that is 45 lbs.
