Our Founder
LCA was founded by Leon Pittman, an avid outdoorsman and 3D archer with a lifetime of diverse experience: retired USAF veteran, General Motors employee, chicken farmer, and custom knife maker. In 2004, Leon set out to solve a simple problem—make tuning bows quicker, safer, and easier. That idea became our very first product, and it continues to drive every innovation we release today.

Our Technology
Central to our presses is our patented finger system (US Patents #7,597,094 & #7,644,708), a breakthrough design that revolutionized the archery tuning industry over 20 years ago. Each LCA patented bow press finger system gently applies pressure to each bow’s limb tips, mimicking the way your bow draws. This eliminates the risk of riser damage while keeping your limbs safe. With an LCA bow press and accessories, you can tune with confidence knowing your bow is fully protected.
