Compact carrying case
Choose a sturdy, level surface capable of supporting load and torque
Attach the mounting brackets to the base of the press using the supplied bolts and washers
For a permanent bench setup, mount using lag bolts for secure installation
For temporary setups, use heavy-duty C-clamps and check tightness frequently
Confirm that the press sits level and stable before inserting a bow
Pro Tip: The Pack-N-Go works perfectly with the LCA Portable Bench Mount for quick, non-permanent use
Slide both press arms into the main body
Slide pins in the main body of the press lock the arms and the rest of the press together
To disassemble for travel, loosen the pins, press the spring pins, and pull out
Store all components inside the compact carrying case
Press the spring-steel tab and slide each finger into its rail slot
Adjust finger spacing to match the bow’s limb pocket width
Use the rear thumb screws to fine-tune limb-tip contact
Ensure each finger sits flush on the limb surface
Confirm even pressure across all four fingers
Mark rail positions for faster reassembly on future bows
Rotate the hand crank to open the press arms until adequate clearance is available
Center the bow so both limb tips rest evenly on the fingers
Ensure the riser is straight and level before tightening
Turn the crank slowly until the press fingers make light, even contact with the limbs
Verify that strings, cables, and cams are clear from interference
Safety Tip: Never force a bow into position — the crank provides controlled, smooth pressure
With the bow centered and supported, rotate the hand crank clockwise to compress the limbs
Stop when the string and cables are relaxed enough for maintenance
Perform tuning adjustments, string and cable replacement, peep installation, and general service
Rotate the crank counter-clockwise slowly to release pressure until limbs return fully to rest
Clean the press after each use
Apply light lubrication to the lead-screw threads
Check bolts, spring pins, knobs, and arms for wear or looseness
Inspect finger pins and contact points regularly
Store the press disassembled inside the carrying case for travel
