Last Chance Archery: A New Look, Same Values

From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader

In 2004, LCA founder and CEO Leon Pittman set out to solve a challenge every bow technician faced: how to tune bows safely and efficiently. Working out of a converted chicken house in northern Georgia, he engineered the Power Press — a breakthrough tool that changed the industry.

The Power Press introduced LCA’s patented finger system, pressing bows at the limb tips to mimic a natural draw and reduce stress on the bow. It was also the first bow press ever to be power-driven, bringing speed and precision to a process that had never seen it before.

That invention sparked more than two decades of innovation, establishing Last Chance Archery as the trusted name in archery products that help archers worldwide tune with confidence.

A New Generation, Same Core Values

As LCA matured, Leon began a thoughtful transition of leadership to ensure the company’s values endured. Today, Wendy, his daughter, oversees the entire business, guiding growth, operations, and people with the same steady principles instilled by her father: faith, family, hard work, and innovation.

Her husband, Chris Clark, leads product design and development, continuing LCA’s reputation for creating tools that are both groundbreaking and built to last.

It truly is a family company. Sons Cody, Justin, Jonathan, Evan, and Elijah, along with daughter Grace, all contribute in meaningful roles—working shoulder to shoulder with their parents to carry the company forward. The Clarks, together with a dedicated team that feels like family, form the heartbeat of LCA.

A Fresh Look, a Bright Future

Now, LCA enters an exciting new chapter with a refreshed brand identity that reflects professionalism, precision, and forward momentum. The new look speaks to growth and innovation—but the soul of LCA hasn’t changed.

We take pride in building nearly all of our tools right here in Georgia, USA—designed for precision, crafted for durability, and delivered with the care of family. And every decision is still anchored in the company’s founding values.

Same Values, Renewed Energy

  • Faith guides the leadership.
  • Family drives the culture.
  • Hard work fuels every innovation.
  • Innovation keeps LCA at the forefront of archery.

Looking Ahead

With Wendy at the helm, Chris driving product innovation, and the next generation of Clarks—Cody, Justin, Jonathan, Evan, Grace, and Elijah—working side by side, Last Chance Archery is built for the future.

A new look. The same values. A family business shaping the next era of archery innovation.
