"Detailed Record Keeping of Setups" By Chris Hacker

I have worked in a shop, am a professional archer, and am an avid bow hunter. Last Chance Archery offers the tools to make any archery-related task efficient and easy.
While working in a shop for over twenty years, chasing the tournament trail for twenty years, and being an avid bowhunter, I have relied on the products from Last Chance Archery to take me to the next level.
Whether setting up a bow for a customer or getting my equipment ready for a national tournament, I trust the products offered by Last Chance!

No company in the industry compares to Last Chance Archery when designing and building products to make my archery life easier.
One thing many archers overlook is taking notes about setups. I like to record the specs of my setups when I get them shooting the best they can.
Recording the setup specs this way helps with new bow setups and eliminates wasting time trying to get a bow right.
I recently set up my Hoyt Archery Concept X 37. I started with the specs from last year's bow, the Stratos 40. I couldn't get comfortable after shooting the Concept setup like my 40. The draw length wasn't a good fit, and I couldn't get the bow to aim well.
Something was missing, so I pulled notes from my 2022 Hoyt Invicta 37, thinking they might work on this new bow with a similar ATA and overall size. After making the necessary adjustments using my Last Chance power press and draw board, I knew I had found the specs needed for the new bow. It was comfortable and aimed like a dream—something I was battling initially.
Had I not kept records of those specs in 2022, I would've been lost with the new bow and searching for the specs that work with my form and shot style for a while.
With all of that in mind, be diligent with note-taking. When you change something, write it down. Keep track of the setups. Record every spec you can measure when those bows are pounding Xs or 12 rings.
