If you ever visit my archery area, you will see many products from Last Chance Archery. You will find equipment to set up arrows and bows, tune my gear, and perfect my shot. These are products that I cannot live without, which is why I am so grateful that LCA offers several packages to support archers from a novice to a professional. These packages include arrow-building supplies, scales, bow vises, and more.
So which package do I personally use? The package you will find lining the shelves in my archery area is the Advanced Package. The Advanced Package includes several supplies, including the EZ Press Deluxe, EZ Vise, Mag Tray Pro, Vane Master Pro, LCA glue and activators, the LCA Draw Board, LCA Bow Scale 2.0, a pro parts kit, tuning tools, trays, and organizers. It allows me to organize my archery area, create the perfect arrows, and get my bow set up, all from the convenience of my own home.
No, really, why this package? The answer is simple. I could be more organized. (Ask my wife!) The tool trays and organizers help me keep all the tools and small parts in one location, ensuring I keep everything. If I lose something, I can grab my Pro-Parts kit and find anything I need.
Next, let's move on to creating the perfect arrow. The Vane Master Pro has been the leading arrow-fletching jig for years. It has been a staple in my arrow fletching game since it hit the market years ago. I love being able to adjust my helical from left to right. This tool also allows me to modify 1 to 5 degrees and change between 3 or 4 fletchings. It comes with different attachments giving me everything I need to up my arrow game. But you still need to finish your arrows! This package also has an arrow scale to ensure they are all within preferred tolerances.
And the meat and potatoes of this package is the EZ Deluxe press. This press is a must for every archer. Whether shooting up a mountain at an elk or shooting extreme angles on the 3-D course, you must check your third axis, which needs to be done at full draw. The Deluxe Press allows you to install the LCA Draw Board directly into the press, making it extremely easy to check your third axis. Draw your bow with the draw board and pivot the bow up or down to check or adjust your third axis. The draw board also lets you check your timing and exact draw length.
Let's move on to bow set-up. Who wants to hold onto the bow? Not me! This is where the LCA vise comes in handy. Placing my bow in the vise allows me to use both hands while working on my equipment. When I finish this, I go to my LCA scale and record my draw length and final holding weight for future bow builds.
