LCA Cap + Stud combinations hold your LCA Stabilizer Weights onto your stabilizers. All LCA weights are unthreaded, allowing you to add or remove them easily. You will no longer have to worry about aligning stabilizer studs perfectly to hold your desired weight. Choose the appropriate stud length for your weight stack, slide the weights on, install onto your stabilizer rod, and you’re done. LCA (5/16″) Cap + Stud Packs
Setup & Use Instructions
Select the correct Cap + Stud length based on the total number of stabilizer weights you plan to run.
Ensure the stabilizer rod threads and Cap + Stud threads are clean and free of debris.
Thread the stud fully into the cap until it is completely seated against the internal stop.
Verify the stud is screwed all the way into the cap, as incomplete installation may cause thread damage or stripping.
Choose your desired weight configuration using LCA 3 oz, 1 oz, or 0.5 oz stabilizer weights to fine-tune balance.
Slide the selected stabilizer weights onto the stud in your preferred order.
Confirm the weights sit flush and are fully supported by the stud.
Thread the assembled Cap + Stud and weight stack into the stabilizer rod by hand.
Tighten the assembly until snug so the weights are secure and cannot move.
Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to threads or components.
Check that the weight stack is aligned straight and does not wobble.
Adjust balance as needed by removing the assembly and changing weight combinations.
Reinstall the Cap + Stud assembly once adjustments are complete.
Inspect the setup periodically to ensure the cap and stud remain tight during use.
When finished shooting, remove the assembly if needed and store components in a clean, dry location.

Could be better
I like the idea of having the weights not being threaded, but the cap is all plastic and doesn’t take much to strip. I have this on my hunting bow and am concerned it will come loose while hunting. I may end up replacing the cap and stud with a button head screw.

Could be better
