PK26 – SHCS 8-32 x 5/16″
Setup & Use Instructions
Select a socket head cap screw from the pack based on your tuning or replacement need.
Confirm the screw uses an 8-32 thread and the 5/16″ length is appropriate for the application.
Inspect the screw threads and socket head to ensure they are clean and free of damage.
Align the screw with the mating threaded component.
Thread the screw in by hand to verify proper alignment.
Ensure the screw turns smoothly and is not cross-threaded.
Use the correct hex key or driver to tighten the screw.
Tighten the screw until the socket head seats firmly against the mating surface.
Avoid over-tightening to prevent stripping threads or damaging components.
Verify the screw is secure and properly seated after installation.
