The Precision Bow Holder elevates bow setup by combining years of feedback from archers and dealers to deliver unmatched accuracy and stability. Its custom bow gripper mimics the natural contact points of your hand, while adjustable, spring-loaded side plates keep your bow perfectly level. With height and depth adjustments, a steel elevation block, and multiple alignment marks, this holder ensures precise, repeatable setups every time. Compatible with both the original LCA Draw Board and the new LCA Draw Board 2.0 (which comes standard), the Precision Bow Holder can be mounted on a table or inside any LCA bow press. Available in Standard and Ultimate models, each kit also includes a (Gen 1) LCA Draw Board spacer for perfect alignment.
Note: The Precision Bow Holder is already included with the LCA Draw Board 2.0.
Lead Time: 3 week(s)

Innovation isn't just part of what we do—it defines it. The Precision Bow Holder embodies this standard, delivering unmatched precision for tuning every detail of your bow with accuracy and ease.
Each Precision Bow Holder is built like a tank, so you can fully trust that this product will stand the test of time.
The Precision Bow Holder has been rigorously tested to withstand the demanding conditions of the workshop environment.
The Precision Bow Holder is a new, upgraded bow holder designed for the Gen 1 LCA Draw Board.
Replaces the original simple rubber-coated rod with a sophisticated, stable grip system.
Eliminates leaning, movement, and instability issues during tuning.
Standard vs. Ultimate versions:
Standard: For LCA bow presses that only work with compound bows.
Ultimate: For LCA presses that accommodate both compound bows and crossbows.
⚠️ If you upgrade to the Draw Board 2.0, this Precision Bow Holder is already included.
Inside the box, you should find:
Assembled Precision Bow Holder
Spacer (alignment bar for Gen 1 Draw Board)
Felt space filler (for tightening bracket fit, if needed)
Bolt pack: 2 lag bolts + 2 washers (for optional bench/table mounting)
If any of these items are missing, contact LCA immediately to request replacements.
Slide the included spacer onto your Gen 1 draw board bracket.
Orientation does not affect performance (stickers can face up for aesthetics).
The spacer ensures the rope of the draw board aligns dead center with the bow holder.
Slide the assembled bow holder into the bow press tubing.
Test fit: If the bracket feels loose, cut and apply the felt space filler to one side, bottom, or back until the fit is snug.
Keep any leftover filler for future adjustments.
If you prefer mounting to a bench or table edge, use the lag bolts + washers.
⚠️ Always drill pilot holes to prevent cracking the wood surface before installing lag bolts.
Place bow grip into the custom bow gripper.
Adjust the side plates until they lightly compress against the grip — mimicking natural hand pressure.
⚠️ Do not overtighten; the bow should still float slightly.
Secure with the rubber strap, adjusting to appropriate tightness.
Custom Bow Gripper: Designed to mimic natural hand contact points; tested across multiple bow grip designs for universal fit.
Side Plates with Spring: Apply light lateral pressure, preventing the bow from tipping.
Rubber Strap: Securely locks bow without overstressing grip.
Elevation Adjustment Bar: Solid steel, fully adjustable up/down for custom alignment.
Windage/Depth Adjustment (stainless steel rod): Slide in/out for perfect rope alignment (reference lines provided).
The bow holder can be mounted on either end of the bow press.
To swap:
Rotate the draw board bracket 90°.
Reinstall the elevation bar, side plates, and gripper in reversed orientation.
Choose end based on whether you primarily service right-handed or left-handed bows (for best visibility of cams and modules).
Provides stable, repeatable readings for:
Cam timing
Cam lean
Draw length measurements
Holding weight with bow scales
Mimics natural hand grip pressure for realistic, accurate testing.
Reinforced steel construction ensures durability and precision over time.
Always secure bow with the rubber strap before drawing.
Keep hands clear of the bow press during installation.
Retain spare felt filler for future adjustments.
The Last Chance Archery Draw Board 2.0 allows you to move the winch and precision bow holder from one side of your bow press to the other. This guide walks you through the process.
⚠️ Note: This is not something you’ll want to do repeatedly. However, if you prefer the winch on the opposite side, follow these steps.
5/32″ Allen wrench (T-handle recommended)
Optional: small impact drill or L-shaped Allen wrench for extra torque
Both the Precision Bow Holder bracket and the Winch bracket need to be rotated 90°.
This ensures clearance inside the press arms and proper strap alignment.
Locate the three black screws on the front of the winch bracket.
⚠️ Do not remove the silver screw — it does not connect to the bracket.
Use your 5/32″ Allen wrench (or drill) to fully remove the three black screws.
Tip: Standing the unit upright may make removal easier.
With screws removed, carefully keep the winch/bracket assembly together.
Avoid turning it upside down — small parts may fall out.
Rotate the bracket 90° so the angle iron clears the internal block of the bow press arm.
Align the holes for reinstallation.
Insert the three black screws back into place.
Tighten gradually — do not fully cinch one screw at a time.
Alternate between screws to prevent cross-threading.
Ensure all bolts are snug and the bracket is secure.
With the bracket rotated, the strap will feed in the correct direction without interference.
Both left- and right-handed bows can be used regardless of side.
Right-hand bows → Most users prefer the winch on the left side of the bow press.
This allows timing marks, draw stops, and modules to face outward for easy viewing.
Left-hand bows → You may prefer the opposite side, depending on visibility and workflow.
The process takes only a few minutes.
You can always reverse the setup later by loosening the screws again and rotating the bracket back.

Precision Bow Holder
This is the best upgrade I have made for my bow press. It holds my bows exactly where I put them even when tipping and turning the press. I am very impressed. No longer have to stock pile the rubber bands is a plus. The install was very easy by just following the video. Nicely done LCA!!!

Perfect Upgrade
I’ve been using the gen 1 draw board in my at-home shop for years. It worked great but the original bow holder had some flaws. The new precision holder was the answer. It allows for ample rest clearance and you can adjust the windage and height of the holder which makes for a much safer and easier draw. If you time cams, rests, or use a draw board period then the Precision bow holder is a must have!

Bow holder
Fantastic improvement for the bow holder just another quality product from last chance archery only minor thing that I would like would be have the scale etched on both side of the holder for mounting when reversing the holder to the right, but like I said minor detail thanks again for great service and products.
