It is user-friendly and suitable for both home and professional use. Each LCA press model has a patented finger system that allows you to press your bow as if it is being drawn back. This design ensures that no extra pressure is applied to the limbs, and no torque is applied to the riser while pressing your bow. Unboxing Your EZ Green Crossbow Press
EZ Green Press main assembly
Four standard press fingers
Hand crank
Four lag bolts with washers
Mounting the Press
Choose a stable surface capable of resisting torque loads
Mount the press securely to a bench, table, or floor stand
Permanent installations use the supplied lag bolts and washers
Temporary setups may use heavy-duty C-clamps
Tighten evenly at all mounting points
Confirm the press does not shift or rock before placing a crossbow
Safety Tip: A loose or uneven mount can lead to crossbow damage or personal injury
Setting Up the Press Fingers
Slide each finger into its slot until the spring pin locks
Adjust finger spacing to match limb width and limb-tip shape
Use rear thumb screws for fine adjustments
Ensure every finger sits flush and square against the limb surface
Confirm all fingers make even contact with no twist or side-load
Pro Tip: Mark rail positions for your most-used crossbows for quicker future setup
Placing the Crossbow in the Press
Open the press using the hand crank until there is enough clearance
Position the crossbow so each finger contacts only the limb tips
Do not allow any part of the riser to contact the fingers
Use the MINI Xbow Adapter for reverse-limb or narrow-limb crossbows
Ensure the crossbow is level and centered before applying pressure
Lightly snug the limbs using the crank without flexing them
Use the thumb screws to refine limb-tip alignment and contact
Pressing the Crossbow
Confirm the crossbow is centered and secure in the press
Turn the hand crank slowly and steadily to draw the limbs together
Stop once strings and cables are relaxed enough for maintenance
Complete string and cable replacement, tuning, or timing adjustments
After Use & Maintenance
Wipe down all moving components after every use
Keep the lead screw and threads lightly lubricated
Inspect finger blocks, pins, and thumb screws for wear or looseness
Check bolts or clamps regularly for proper tightness
Store indoors away from moisture and corrosive environments

Works better than expected…
This works great for my scorpyd and I bought the mini crossbow adapter for my Ravin R29. No more having to remove the scope on the Ravin to change the string and cables. Very well made! Should be the last press I’ll ever have to buy. Highly recommend!

I had never used a press before but I watched the LCA videos and felt comfortable. I changed the string and cables and even timed the cams with no issue. The press is very smooth and feels very safe.
