Power Ultimate Deluxe Press — Setup & Operating Instructions

Unboxing Your Power Ultimate Deluxe Press

Each unit includes:
Main press body (motor installed)
Pivot bracket assembly
Pivot locking handle
Press fingers (4 total — 2 per side)
Draw stop finger
Foot toggle switch with cord and plug
Bench mounting brackets (2)
Lag bolts with washers (4)

Mounting & Setup

Select a sturdy, level bench capable of supporting motor vibration.
Attach the pivot bracket to the main body with the supplied hardware.
Install the pivot handle and ensure smooth rotation.
Secure the press to the bench using lag bolts or heavy-duty C-clamps.
Connect the foot toggle to the motor control box before powering on.
Verify the press is fully stable and level before use.

Motor Operation & Foot Toggle Control

Plug into a properly grounded 110V outlet (or region-specific equivalent).
Left side of the foot toggle opens the press arms.
Right side of the foot toggle closes the press arms and applies compression.
Release the pedal at any time to stop motion immediately.
Motor stops automatically when the pedal is released.

Adjusting the Press Arms (Axle-to-Axle Range)

Pull the locking pin to slide the arms inward or outward.
Match arm spacing to the bow’s axle-to-axle width.
Ensure both arms are aligned evenly before re-seating the pins.
Confirm pins are fully locked before motor operation.

Important: Only adjust arm width when all limb tension is released.

Installing & Adjusting the Press Fingers

Press the spring-steel tab and slide each finger into its slot until locked.
Set spacing to match the bow’s limb pocket width.
Use thumb screws to fine-tune finger contact.
Ensure all fingers sit flush with no twisting or side-loading.
Install the draw stop finger when servicing bows with limb stops.

Pivoting the Press

Unlock the pivot handle to rotate the press head.
Horizontal orientation is ideal for string/cable work and cam service.
Vertical orientation is preferred for peep installation and timing adjustments.
Lock the pivot handle securely after choosing the working position.
Verify the pivot is snug before using the motor or hand wheel.

Placing the Bow or Crossbow in the Press

Use the foot toggle or hand wheel to open the press arms.
Center the riser over the press and rest the limb tips evenly on the fingers.
Confirm all strings, cables, and cams are clear of the press frame.
Close the arms slowly until the fingers make light, even contact.

Standard-limb crossbows — stock faces upward.
Reverse-limb crossbows — stock faces downward.

Pressing the Bow or Crossbow

Use the foot toggle to compress the limbs gradually.
Stop when the string and cables are fully relaxed.
Perform tuning, timing, or string/cable replacement as needed.
Use the opposite direction on the toggle to release tension slowly.
Use the hand wheel for precision adjustments.

After Use & Maintenance

Wipe down the arms and body after every use.
Check bolts, thumb screws, and pivot hardware frequently.
Inspect cords, toggle switch, and plugs for wear.
Store in a clean, dry area.

Troubleshooting

Motor won’t run — check power supply unit, green light should stay on and not flicker or dim when pressing a bow.
Press binds during travel — contact LCA
Uneven limb compression — finger spacing requires adjustment.
Vibration or noise — loose hardware, dry threads, or missing shim; tighten and lubricate, contact LCA
Bow tilts during pivoting — pivot handle not fully tightened.

    Ultimate Deluxe Power Press

Press works great. I guess my only complaint would be the handles to tighten the first and second axis don’t hold the greatest without really cranking down on them. Not that big of a deal but I really like the versatility on the press!!!!
