Unboxing Your Ultimate EZ Press

Main press body with hand wheel installed
Two adjustable press arms with sliding finger blocks
Four press fingers (two per side)
One draw-stop finger
Two steel bench-mount brackets
Four lag bolts with washers

Mounting & Setup

Choose a solid, level bench capable of supporting full limb-compression load.
Attach the mounting brackets to the base of the press with the supplied lag bolts.
For permanent mounting, bolt directly to the workbench.
For temporary setups, secure with heavy-duty C-clamps and check tightness before each session.
Confirm the press is level and does not shift before inserting a bow or crossbow.

Adjusting the Press Arms (Axle-to-Axle Range)

Pull the locking pin on each side to slide the arms in or out.
Adjust to match the bow’s axle-to-axle length.
Ensure both arms are extended evenly and the pins re-seat fully.
Verify the arms are locked in position before pressing.

Installing & Adjusting the Press Fingers

Press the spring-steel tab and slide each finger into its slot until it clicks.
Adjust finger spacing to match the bow or crossbow’s limb pocket width.
Use the rear thumb screws to fine-tune limb-tip contact.
Confirm all four fingers sit flush and evenly against the limbs.
Install the draw-stop finger when working on bows equipped with limb stops.

Placing the Bow or Crossbow in the Press

Rotate the hand wheel to open the arms until adequate clearance is available.
Set the riser in the center and rest both limb tips evenly on the press fingers.
Verify that strings, cables, and cams do not contact the press frame.
Turn the hand wheel slowly until all fingers make light, even contact.

For standard-limb crossbows, position the stock facing upward.
For reverse-limb crossbows, position the stock facing downward.

Pressing the Bow or Crossbow

Once centered and supported, rotate the hand wheel clockwise to compress the limbs evenly.
Stop when strings and cables are fully relaxed for service.
Perform timing adjustments, string or cable replacement, or tuning procedures.
Rotate counter-clockwise slowly to release pressure until the limbs return to rest.

After Use & Maintenance

Wipe down the press rails, arms, and lead screw after each use.
Apply light lubrication to the threads and rail surfaces.
Check bolts, thumb screws, and locking pins for security.
Inspect fingers and spring pins regularly for wear.
Store the press in a clean, dry environment.

Troubleshooting

Press binds while cranking — contactUneven limb pressure — fingers not evenly spaced — adjust thumb screws for balanced contact.
Hand wheel rotates but arms do not move — locking pin not fully seated — reinsert pin and tighten hub.
Press shifts during use — loose mounting or uneven bench — retighten hardware and ensure surface is level.

    Ultimate Bow Press

Having had this press for number of years now. It works well with different bows, nothing extra to buy. Definitely recommend.

  2. Nathan Jones

    Great bow press

I bought this press primarily for my crossbows and family members compound bows, it’s very well made, it’s smooth cranking,I fabricated a crossbow holder because I’m in a wheelchair, anyways great piece of archery equipment.

  3. Nick

Great product and better customer service!

The bow press is extremely robust and all the components are well made! I called in to make sure I was buying all the correct components and the customer service was awesome! They were able to help me decide which press to buy based off of my needs. No one will put as much care into your equipment as you do, so I feel like this is the perfect tool to get started.

The beat press on the the market!

This is by far the best press anyone could possibly own. From the compounds to crossbows this press has handles them all. Paired with a LCA draw board, tray and tool organizer this thing is the do it all press!

I bought my Ultimate EZ back in October of 2015 from a guy named Hal McCurry for only $568.96. I’m not affiliated with a bow shop – I’ve only used it to work on my, and friends’, bows. The Ultimate EZ is one great prees. Now, I own two crossbows, a TenPoint Turbo X and a Ravin R29X, so I’ll be getting a MINI Xbow Adapter for it.
