Arrow Wrap Application Instructions:

What You’ll Need

LCA WrapWorks arrow wraps

WrapWorks Mat (for alignment and support)

LCA Precision Flex Cutter (when installing a flex size for precise trimming)

LCA Activator, denatured alcohol, or acetone.

Lint-free cloth or paper towel

Bare arrow shaft (clean and dry)

Arrow nock

Step 1: Clean the Arrow Shaft

Spray or wipe the bare shaft with denatured alcohol, acetone, or fletching activator.

Remove all oils, carbon dust, and residue for the best adhesion.

Avoid fingernail polish remover — many contain oils that reduce stick.

Do not clean over labels — solvents will remove printed logos.

Step 2: Measure & Cut the Wrap (Only applies to Precision Flex wraps)

Find the diameter of your arrow shaft and select the corresponding wrap to fit that size arrow shaft. If the Precision Fixed Standard-sized wrap fits your shaft, no trimming is needed, and you can skip to step 3. For Precision Flex series wraps, continue to step 2.

Use the printed Precision-Cut reference lines on the wraps to select the appropriate size wrap needed for your specific arrow shaft. Install the wrap into the arrow wrap cutter and trim along the reference lines as shown on the wrap’s print.

Once trimmed, you’re ready to install. Follow the same steps to cut all the arrow wraps that you need for your current setup.

Step 3: Position the Wrap

Flip the wrap adhesive side up, peel off the adhesive backing, and position the wrap on the arrow wrap install mat in the correct location for precise alignment during install.

Align the shaft with your preferred reference point:

Example: Line the back of the wrap to the 1″ mark on the mat.

Or leave ⅛” of carbon exposed near the nock for crack inspection.

Ensure the shaft is parallel to the wrap edge before rolling the wrap.

Step 4: Apply the Wrap

Place the shaft lightly on the starting edge of the wrap.

Press down firmly to anchor.

Roll the shaft forward with steady, even pressure until the wrap fully transfers.

If crooked, gently push the shaft forward to let the wrap self-straighten.

You must use a wrap install mat for this process. The soft design of a true wrap install mat enables the wrap to adhere fully to the arrow shaft. Example: If you try to install on a flat surface, the arrow wrap won’t compress against the shaft, resulting in inconsistent installation results. The WrapWorks Mat is the perfect tool for these installs. Providing both excellent adhesion and precise alignment marks as a bonus.

Step 5: Seal & Secure

Press along the seam with your fingers to push out any air and to fully seal the wrap around your shaft.

Roll the arrow back and forth on the arrow wrap install mat several times to lock adhesion.

Step 6: Final Check

Install your nock and confirm clearance between the nock groove and the fletching wrap.

Inspect and re-press the seam if needed.

Allow wraps to set briefly before fletching for maximum hold.
