Bow Press Handwheel
Setup & Use Instructions
Ensure the bow press is not under load before installing or adjusting the handwheel.
Remove the existing hand crank or adjustment handle from the bow press if installed.
Align the Bow Press Handwheel with the press adjustment shaft.
Slide the handwheel fully onto the shaft until it seats properly.
Install the locking set screw into the handwheel.
Tighten the set screw securely to lock the handwheel in place.
Verify the handwheel spins smoothly and does not wobble.
Use the installed handle to rotate the handwheel when moving the bow press in or out.
Turn the handwheel slowly and evenly to apply smooth, controlled pressure.
Avoid sudden or aggressive movements while adjusting the press.
Confirm the press arms move evenly during operation.
Recheck the set screw periodically to ensure it remains tight.
Remove load from the press before making any future adjustments or removal.
Store any removed components in a safe location.
