Power Adapter Kit – Thumb Toggle

Setup & Installation Instructions

Included Parts

Aluminum adapter stud
Nylon spacer
Black tube adapter
1/4-20 set screw
Two 1/4-20 button head screws
Nut thread cleaner
Motor with large black Allen head screw
Power supply (silver box)
Toggle switch installed in the motor

Installation

Read all instructions fully before beginning installation.

Ensure the bow press arm is positioned at least 1/2″ away from being fully closed before starting.

Use a 1/8″ Allen wrench to loosen the small set screw inside the existing handwheel.

If removing a handle from an EZ Green Press, remove the face nut from the front of the handle using a second 15/16″ wrench.

Use a 15/16″ wrench to hold the press nut in place.

Unthread and remove the handwheel or handle by turning it counterclockwise off the threaded rod.

Thread the nut thread cleaner fully onto the exposed threaded rod.

Remove the thread cleaner after cleaning to ensure all threads are clear.

Install the aluminum adapter stud by threading it clockwise onto the threaded rod until it seats fully against the press nut.

Tighten the set screw inside the aluminum adapter stud using a 1/8″ Allen wrench to lock it in place.

Use a 5/32″ Allen wrench to remove the two 1/4-20 screws from the back of the press.

Install the nylon spacer onto the backside of the press, aligning the holes correctly.

Slide the black tube adapter over the aluminum adapter stud.

Ensure the clear plastic spacer strip is wrapped around the black tube before installing the motor.

Orient the black tube so the hole in the tube faces the backside of the press.

Install the two 1/4-20 screws through the black adapter and nylon spacer into the press.

Tighten the screws evenly but do not overtighten to avoid press bearing damage.

Align the aluminum adapter stud with the gear inside the motor by visual alignment.

Slide the motor onto the black adapter until the alignment arrows touch.

Confirm the motor is fully seated before securing it.

Hand-tighten the large silver thumb screw into the hole in the black adapter.

Tighten only enough to prevent motor movement and do not overtighten.

Plug the power supply into a grounded outlet.

Use the thumb toggle switch on the motor to operate the bow press once installation is complete.
