If either part isn’t square, it can cause reduced accuracy when shooting. How to Use the LCA Square Up Tool
Setup & Use Instructions
Use the LCA Square Up Tool to ensure arrow shafts, inserts, nocks, and broadheads are square and concentric.
Understand that the ball bearings support the arrow shaft and keep it square during rotation.
Use the diamond hone to file the end of the shaft, insert, or outsert flat.
Use the thumb screws to remove the diamond hone when converting the tool into an arrow spinner.
Use the mounting holes to permanently attach the tool to a workbench if desired.
Determine what component needs to be squared before starting.
Square exposed inserts or outserts by squaring the face of the insert.
Square HIT or internal inserts by squaring the raw carbon end of the shaft.
Square nocks by squaring the rear end of the shaft.
Mark the surface to be squared using a black or silver marker for contrast.
Color the entire face of the shaft or insert to create a visual reference.
Place the arrow into the Square Up Tool so it rests evenly on the bearings.
Apply light forward pressure toward the diamond hone.
Rotate the arrow slowly against the hone.
Check the end of the shaft or insert as you rotate.
Continue rotating if marker remains on any portion of the surface.
Rotate until all marker is removed evenly and the face appears uniform and clean.
Repeat the process as needed to ensure a flat, square surface.
Remove the diamond hone using the thumb screws when squaring is complete.
Use the tool as an arrow spinner by placing the arrow back on the bearings.
Spin the arrow slowly and observe the broadhead tip and nock.
Confirm the arrow spins straight with no visible wobble.
Return the arrow to the hone if wobble is present and repeat squaring.
Mount the tool to a workbench for quick access and consistent use if desired.

Nice little arrow squaring tool
Bought this as an upgrade to the printed plastic sandpaper tool I had been using. It’s a very solid unit with a diamond surface that is the area that does the work. It’s not that aggressive of a surface and takes a little longer to get the job done. I would purchase different grits if available. And I would like it a bit wider between rollers. But al in all is is a nice compact unit for the price.

China bearings don’t spin
This company is top notch this tool could be great but the bearings won’t make a full spin under their own weight. The arrows spin on top of the bearings while they don’t move or maybe move an hair sometimes ,instead of the bearings spinning the arrow. I have spoke to a rep about it and hoping to get better bearings. I bought ceramic bearings from Modsaw the bolt will not fit the bolt on the LCA square up. I’m trying to get some better bearings but I’m having a hard time maybe they can offer and upgrade kit or make a new stand with smaller bolts that fit high end skate board bearings? Because of this I’m giving a 1 star until I can find or receive better bearings?

Very Smooth and Easy
The bearings are a nice touch. The arrow spins easily so you don’t have to apply much pressure. This is an advantage to squaring the end because you minimize deflection of the shaft. The diamond plate is also superior to sandpaper.

Great product
Works great & very smooth. One problem I had was with little rubber feet it seemed to wobble so I removed them & replaced with flat rubber squares. No more wobble!

Well made product, the diamond stone is great. Only three stars because one of the four bearings drags a little. Maybe the grit that’s in it will work itself out. I also bought the EZ press and draw board 2.0 and they both are amazing tools.

Precision Made Easy
This thing is incredibly precise, and ensures that both ends of my arrows are perfectly square. The build quality is solid, and it works seamlessly with various shaft sizes. What I like most about it is the adjustable diamond squaring insert, there have been a lot of arrow builds through this thing and that thing is still working awesome! Thanks LCA!
