Ensure your LCA Revolution Vise clamp is securely mounted to a bench, table, or bow press.
Ensure there’s always an archery target behind the area you plan to mount your paper tuner, ensuring safety.
Clear the work area to prevent interference with rotation or paper feed.
Secure the Revolution Vise clamp to a stable, flat surface (bench, table, or bow press).
Confirm the clamp jaws open and close freely.
Open the mounting clamp, and ensure the mounting plate is open wide enough to mount onto your surface.
Slide the clamp onto the mounting surface and rotate the handle, which pushes the mounting plate into position.
Tighten until the clamp is securely fastened.
For portable setups, ensure the vise base is firmly tightened.
Align the holes at the base of the FlightCheck frame with the holes inside the vise mount block.
Align the holes, insert the bolts, and secure using the included lock nuts.
The FlightPaper printed shooting dots should face outward toward the shooter.
Do not overtighten; snug contact is sufficient.
Confirm the FlightCheck is stable and balanced before use.
Insert the 1⅜” ball end of the FlightCheck Vise Mount into the jaws of the Revolution Vise clamp.
Tighten the vise handle until the ball is snug, yet still allows for smooth rotation and tilt of the mount.
Adjust the shaft angle to position the mount vertically upright or slightly tilted based on your tuning preference.
Tip: For ideal tuning height, position the ball joint so the FlightCheck’s paper window will align with the archer’s chest level once attached.
Loosen the Revolution Vise handle slightly to reposition the frame’s angle or orientation.
Once correctly aligned, tighten the handle until the mount is securely in place.
The ball joint allows 360° rotation and tilt adjustment, enabling fine-tuning of the angle for optimal viewing and shot clearance.
Once installed, load FlightPaper (see FlightPaper loading instructions).
Stand approximately 12 feet behind the tuning window when taking the shot.
The vise setup allows quick repositioning between shooters or bow styles.
When finished, you can easily remove the FlightCheck by loosening the set screw and lifting the frame off.
Wipe the mount and ball joint with a clean, dry cloth after use.
Do not lubricate the ball surface—clean, dry friction ensures secure clamping.
Inspect the set screw and knob for tightness before each session.
Store the mount indoors to prevent it from corroding.
Always ensure the vise and mount are securely clamped before firing.
Do not overtighten the ball joint; excessive pressure may restrict adjustment or damage the clamp.
Keep your hands clear of moving parts when tightening or loosening the vise.
Confirm that the shooting lane behind the FlightCheck is clear and safe before use.
Take full advantage of your Revolution Vise setup.
The FlightCheck – Vise Mount lets you swap between your vise head and your FlightCheck in seconds — no tools or wasted space. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the Revolution Vise clamp, it converts your existing vise setup into a dual-purpose tuning powerhouse.
