Select a solid, flat wall surface that can support the FlightCheck frame. (Approx. 7lbs)
Determine your desired shooting height—the center of the tuning window should align near chest height at full draw.
Mark the mounting area with a level and pencil to ensure alignment before drilling.
Necessary: When mounting, locate a stud. Anchors would likely not be strong enough to hold the unit in place.
You can remove the mounting bracket from the arm, if needed, or hold the entire wall mount up for this step.
Hold the mounting bracket flush against the wall at your chosen height.
Use a level to ensure it’s straight.
Mark the hole locations with a pencil or marker.
Drill pilot holes at the marked points:
Position the bracket and secure it using the provided wall mounting bolts.
Tighten until snug—do not overtighten or deform the bracket base.
Align the pivot arm with the hinge point of the mounting bracket.
Insert the arm pivot bolt to secure it in place.
Confirm the arm swings freely from folded (flat) to extended (outward) position.
The arm should move smoothly but hold its position when partially opened.
Tighten to apply more pressure if it moves too freely. Loosen if it’s too tight.
On either side of the FlightCheck frame, there are mounting holes that align with the wall mount arm connector.
Align the holes and secure the frame using the 1/4″ bolts and nuts.
The FlightPaper printed shooting dots should face outward toward the shooter.
Ensure the frame can pivot fully without obstruction.
Swing the frame out to its full open position for tuning.
Verify that the FlightCheck is level and centered at your shooting line.
When not in use, fold the arm flat against the wall to save space.
The mount can be installed on either side of the FlightCheck frame for left- or right-handed setups.
Once installed, load FlightPaper (see FlightPaper loading instructions).
Stand approximately 12 feet back for optimal tuning results.
The pivot arm allows easy repositioning for multiple shooters or angles.
When finished, fold the unit flat and ensure the arm is resting securely against the wall.
Periodically check all mounting screws and the arm hinge for tightness.
Wipe the wall mount with a soft, dry cloth when cleaning.
Keep the pivot arm clear of dust or debris for smooth movement.
Do not hang on the pivot arm or the FlightCheck unit when mounted.
Confirm that all wall fasteners are securely tightened before each use.
Ensure there is no movement or flex when pulling on the frame.
Never hang or lean body weight on the FlightCheck frame or the wall mount arm.
Keep the area clear when swinging the arm to prevent contact with nearby objects.
