Precision Flex Cutter Replacement Blade Install Instructions:

Step 1: Prep

Place the cutter on a stable, flat surface.
Keep fingers clear of the cutting edge. If available, wear cut-resistant gloves.

Step 2: Locate the access opening

Find the small opening at one end of the cutter body. This is the blade access end.

Step 3: Slide the blade to the opening

Gently slide the blade assembly toward the end with the small opening until it aligns with the opening.

Step 4: Remove the old blade + housing

Using your thumb or fingernail, carefully “pop” the blade and its small housing out through the opening.
Lift it straight out. Set aside for safe disposal.

Step 5: Insert the new blade

With the same orientation as the old one, slide the new blade (with housing) into the slot through the opening.
Press it in until it seats fully and moves smoothly in the track.

Step 6: Lock it back in place

Slide the blade assembly back away from the opening until it’s fully retracted/parked.
You should feel it settle securely in the internal track.

Step 7: Function check

Slide the blade assembly forward and back to confirm smooth travel.
Ensure the blade sits straight and flush, with no wobble or binding.

Step 8: Clean up + safety

Dispose of the old blade safely (wrap the edge with cardboard or tape before discarding).
Store the cutter with the blade retracted.

Tips / Troubleshooting:

If the new blade doesn’t seat, remove it, verify that the orientation matches the old blade, and reinsert it.
If travel feels rough: check for debris in the slot and gently clear it before reinserting.
Never force the blade—light, straight pressure is enough.
